Beach Trip Part 1

We had a very busy weekend with First Communions and Anniversary parties.  On Sunday we were able to wake up and pack the car with all our beach gear before heading to church.  Tucker and Julia sang with the Children's Schola at Mass and then we hit the road.  We finally made it to Orange Beach by 6.    After unpacking the car, sweet Daddy took the grocery list and did a huge Publix run while I took the children swimming.

Tucker absolutely loves this slide.  He goes again and again.

Yes we found a planets bathing suit.  He also has a bathing suit with maps.  :)

"Red sky at night- Sailor's delight..."

We eventually moved to one of the indoor pools.

We came in and helped Daddy put the groceries away and everyone had showers.  Then we played a family game of Wii Wheel of Fortune before Daddy read us a story about St. Louis the IX before bed.  Such a wonderful day.

This morning after breakfast the children and I hit the pool!  Daddy had a little work to do, but he soon joined us as well.  How much do I love the lazy river?  Turns out my pregnant tummy can fit right in the tube and I can lay on my stomach!  :)

We had so much fun throwing the ball and playing.

We just had a yummy lunch and even some homemade cookies, and now we are heading back to the pool and then to the beach!

One of the big perks of homeschooling is traveling off season.  This condo we are in is gorgeous and amazing and the price almost quadruples next week when school is out.  This was the very last week my doctor would let me travel and we wanted to take advantage of one last beach trip before baby girl arrives.  :)    So glad this all worked out!
