The other night Tucker walked in the room playing with his planets. I had never seen this set of planets and when he dropped one it bounced. :) Tuckerman had been in the garage and colored 9 ping pong balls. My artist never slows down.
Yesterday I was looking for him and said, "Tucker- why aren't you doing your math?" He walked out of the laundry room holding stacks of card stock. "Mommy, I just have to finish some crafting before I get to my schoolwork." I explained that we can't craft until we've done our work.
Later, I look again and he's not doing his math. I called him and he walks down the stairs carrying a box of markers. I said, "What did I just say!" He said, "I know- no crafting until I've done my work- I'm just getting the craft materials ready so I can jump right to it when I'm done." You can't stop the boy's crafts.
By the way, in co-op Charlie was asked to say one thing he loved about Mommy and Daddy.
On Saturday while we were cleaning for the shower poor Charliebear fell fast asleep on the sofa. That is not something he would normally do.
He had a cough that got worse and worse through the day so by evening it seemed we should run him by the ER to make sure it wasn't flue or pneumonia.
They said it was a respiratory infection and we came on home and took it easy.
Monday we had the biggest treat- we went to see WILD KRATTS LIVE! We love Wild Kratts around here and it was so exciting to see them in person!
During the show they put on creature power suits and do tricks- it's very cute.
That night when we got home Charlie again fell asleep on the couch and seemed to be getting worse all of a sudden.
As the rest of us sat at the kitchen table eating supper he suddenly jumped up and started screaming at the top of his lungs that his ear hurt. It went from 0 to 100. He hadn't mentioned his ear once all day. Well, Marc ran him up to the ER where he screamed in pain until they got him two gel numbing shots in his ear to ease the pain and started him on antibiotics. He woke up a new boy. Poor little guy- what a week!
