Isn't she lovely.....

Sweet Sissybug had her ballet recital Saturday afternoon.  The theme was countries of the world and she was Scotland!  :)  I was so happy to have Zaza in town to do the bun and it looked beautiful and then we realized her costume had a hat that covered the whole thing!  :)  She looked adorable.

We drove straight from the LAX tournament so we were all very casual!  :)

LAX jamboree

Saturday was a whirlwind.  Marky had a Lacrosse jamboree where he was supposed to play four (shortened) games over the whole day and Julia had a dance recital the same day.  What in the world.  We ended up letting Marky play three games, but he was not allowed to miss Sissy's dance.  :)  Marc got up early and took him to his first early morning game and then the rest of all headed out for the second game.  His big cheering section!  They yell "Go Bubba!!!!" and ask for snacks the whole time.  :)















I won't lie- I am THRILLED this is over.  It took a lot of time and energy, and I even said we may take next year off altogether!  I think kids sports are CRAZY- but you either join the craziness or don't get to play.  That said- he LOVES this game and had a great team and awesome coaches and we did it.

Zaza and Grandpa flew in on Thursday night for a visit.  We were all so excited!  They flew in right at supper while Marc was in Boys' Choir rehearsal so the rest of us met them at Five Guys and had dinner.  Then we picked up Marc and headed out to the children's art show!  They each had four pieces of art in the show.

Then on Friday we woke up and spent the day out at BB and Poppy's farm.  We had a yummy lunch and fished and boated!  Such a treat!  (and P.S.-  Charlie was down for a nap for all of this)  :)
