October 2021- Part 2, Folklore Field trip, Tucker's desk, Pumpkin Patch

We got back from the beach and got out our Halloween decor!

I found the cutest little pumpkin head to go over our lantern!

Before-

After-

Annie loves when her room is clean-

The maids put all her bunnies on her bed.  :)

I teach a Montessori-based Sunday school this year (Catechesis of the Good Shepherd), and Anastasia is in my class.  She absolutely loves it and thrives as a self-starter!

We tried pig tails for the first time in October- they were cute, but it didn't look like Anastasia!

We had a fun field trip to see how life was in the past-

Making old-timey toys-

Learning how they make sorghum syrup!

Learning about how to make quilts!

When the boys are camping out, the girls go out!  :)

The boys went to the annual Fraternus campout-

Tucker slept in his hammock again-

It's fun to be a barn baby and grow up with horses-

I love putting Anastasia in Julia's dresses- I remember Julia loving this ladybug dress.

One day the boys and I dropped everything, kept Anastasia home from Moms Day Out, and went to the zoo.  (Julia had co-op classes).  It was such a fun day.

January and February 2021, Tucker took a wood-working class at co-op.  He wanted to make a desk for his room.  It became clear that it was going to take WAAAAAAYYY longer to finish (because the awesome teacher let Tucker do every.single.thing).   Tucker sawed and planed the legs, sawed the melamine top, screwed and glued every single piece.   So the wonderful teacher came to our house four times over the year and he finally, finally finished it in October!  We love it!

We took the Pumpkin Express Train out to the pumpkin patch with BB and Poppy.

And friends invited us over to carve pumpkins-

Daddy and Sissy made Annie a Peppa Pig pumpkin-

All the pumpkin fun wore baby girl out.
