Julia's play- Radio Days

This year, Julia signed up for the drama class offered by our cover school.  They met for 2 hours a week all year and in April put on the best 40s radio show!  When Julia went to the dress rehearsal, we realized her dress was not the right shade of red.  It was the day before the play and we ran all over town that evening trying to find the "right" color red dress that looked 40s and we couldn't find anything.  Tears were shed- it was so stressful.

Then I remembered my old suits from when I worked were in the basement, and we found this red suit that I wore when I was sworn into the Alabama Bar.  :)  I remember I was just barely pregnant with Marky.  It fit like a glove and she looked perfect!  Zaza did her hair!

Sadly, BB got sick the night of the play and could not make it.

Julia was the pianist for the show and started out playing the National Anthem, and then played all these cute little 40s ditties in between sketches.  We were very proud!

At the end they did a little dance-

Our wonderful theater director!  She kindly gave Julia a ride home every single day!

This would not have worked near as well without Zaza here to help us!  Thank you, Zaza!

This and That- catching up

We brought back the bonnet other day for church and I just LOVED it!  :)

The boys caught a pet lizard for a couple of days before I made them free him.  They really loved it!

Annie absolutely loves the sandbox and plays in it every day just like her siblings did.  I remember buying this sandbox for Marky 15 years ago!

Speaking of Marky- his letterman jacket arrived!

Annie's mouse ears she made at "Baby Friends"-

All three boys played church league soccer.  I didn't get many pictures, but they had a great time.

Somehow, Tucker missed getting in the team picture.  He was there and dressed in his uniform and no one noticed (not even his BROTHER) that he wasn't in the pic!  :)

One night we were all out and left Marky at home alone for a while and some of his friends SUPRISED him with a belated sweet sixteen.  They came in the kitchen door with pizza and cake and they had a great night.

My happy, happy baby girl!

Have I mentioned she likes the sandbox?  Ha!  Every.single.day she is in it!

Marky got his wisdom teeth out.  When he first got home, I thought- that's not so bad.  :)

But he kept swelling and swelling.  We kept ice packs on to help him out.

We had a huge treat when Zaza flew in from Florida to come to Julia's play!  She took us to Dave and Busters.  We had never been before.

Zaza stood there and took a video of Big Marc playing a game. Mommas always love their babies.

She was just here for a weekend and it was too short!  We LOVE when Zaza comes to town!

All year on Wednesday nights Marc, Marky and Tucker went to Fraternus, and Julia went to a girl's Bible Study so it would just be me, Charlie and Annie for supper.  We had some fun adventures of our own.  They are so sweet together.

Now that the weather is so nice we go to one of the awesome parks near us all the time.   Usually we go after supper and get our energy out before bed!

Annie has the best Daddy.  :)

For the feast of St. George we made our annual Dragon cake!  :)

I walked through the kitchen the other day and saw a puddle near the refrigerator with this sign-

I appreciate him making it bilingual!  :)  Ha!

I will always say, "being the Ayers baby is a good gig."  Talk about being doted on and adored!

At the end of April, we had our last (and only second) official field trip for the year.  The boys went to the 4H center for the whole day and learned about all kinds of things and went on a long mountain hike.  There were a bunch of other kids there- this is just one snap shot I got.
