On Thursday we drove to the Creation Museum. It was really nice. It's set in beautiful botanical gardens and has wonderful movies, a planetarium, and restaurants on site. We spent a long time enjoying the area.
The older children don't have the luxury of taking time off school for our road trips now that they are in co-op classes. They used their car time wisely for typing up papers and studying for tests.
After touring the museum we drove into Cincinnati.
It was a real treat to drive over Roebling's Suspension bridge built in 1866. John Roebling built the Brooklyn Bridge, and we learned all about Roebling's life in the DVD Bridges by David Macauley.
We enjoyed walking over the pedestrian bridge that crosses the Kentucky River. We walked over and had dinner in Kentucky. :)
