When Charlie and Tucker put on sunglasses they say "looking good" :)

After unloading the groceries we hit the beach for the whole morning!

Daddy and his "helpers" looking for sand fleas... :)

Lunch in the condo- just a few steps from the beach!

The one thing we didn't have- a high chair or booster seat- Charlie sat on Daddy's lap for all his meals. :)

We put Charlie down for a nap and the two dads took the older children to the Mote Aquarium in Sarasota. We got in FREE with our hometown zoo membership and the children had a blast (and the mommys had a blast laying in the sun for a bit without babies). :)

Our friend pretending to get chomped!

Time for old-fashioned milkshakes!

Tucker chatting up a stranger- like he does everywhere we go- Marc said he was giving her a run down of his whole day. :)

Later that night we went to our friends' condo and had a fourth of July cookout- the children had burgers the adults had smoked pork- (I made Marc wear his Constitution shirt- ha!)

After dinner the children had a dance party with their flags-

Then we had cupcakes that the two little girls had decorated with fruit to look like Old Glory!

After cupcakes we walked out to the beach to watch the fireworks- we saw two shows- they had shows on each end of the island so we would just turn one way for a while and then turn around and look the other way- so much fun! My girlfriend brought her ipod and speakers with her "patriotic mix".

Hands down one of my favorite Independence Days ever!
