Noccalula Falls and Imagination Place

Today we had a little family day out.  We have been so busy with the Ireland trip and traveling for work and lacrosse that we all felt we needed a day of fun.

We went to Noccalula Falls and had the best time.  The weather was perfect and there were so many things to do.  Our first start was walking through the pioneer village with authentic log cabins-

Old drill press-

Really interesting old crane-

We loved seeing all the interesting animals-

And the petting zoo was impressive- here they are looking at a tarantula!

Tucker said, "Looky here- a symbol of the Holy Spirit."  :)

We got to pet 3 hour old guinea pigs-

And we fed a llama, sheep, deer, and goats-

We didn't hike any trails because we had the stroller.  Next time we will take the baby back pack- our little girl loves to be outside.

Then we rode the train through the botanical gardens to the falls-

The story if of an Indian girl named Noccalula who jumped off the falls when here father was forcing her to marry someone she did not love.

A few summers ago I brought the little boys to Imagination Place and they have always wanted to go back.  They have almost out grown it, but we still had a nice time today.

Little Annie Rose loves toys and playing.  She was happy as a lark.

Hi, Mommy!  I love her little wave!

Thank you, Lord, for such a sweet day with my loves.
