We have hosted Thanksgiving for many years now and always look forward to our family coming in town! This year, Zaza and Grandpa were unable to come due to him having a back procedure on Tuesday. Amber, Tim and Landin arrived on Tuesday evening. Tim headlined a comedy show at the StarDome Comedy Theater on Tuesday night! He was GREAT! Tim is a clean comedian, which means he does not curse or do off color jokes- he is just truly funny! BB and Poppy came too!
Annie loved Uncle Tim and Aunt Amber and got lots of snuggles. :)
We had our traditional Hibachi night out! The chef remembered all of us from holidays past. :)
We got a new 12 foot Christmas tree for the foyer this year (not to be confused with our live family tree).
Amber helped us decorate us as she is the decoration master. Here she was making bows and having Charlie put them on.
Marc LOVES LOVES LOVES Christmas. He could not wait to put up some decorations. We are doing a few every day.
Along with being a television host, comedian, and professional body builder, my brother-in-law is also a chef. He used to host a cooking show in Tampa. He was SUCH a help for Thanksgiving- he got up early and made the best turkey we have ever had along with green bean casserole and homemade mashed potatoes. BB brought stuffing and deviled eggs and we supplied the rest. It was a feast!
Look how lovely his presentation of the carved turkey was-
And we always get family pictures!
We celebrated Tim's birthday on Friday. He got a Stranger Things shirt and we realized it matched Julia's Synonym Finder book! Ha! 80s font!
Annie Rose loves playing outside! She slides over and over and laughs and laughs. She loves her tot lot.
And she loves leaf piles!
We never get to see the family at Christmas, so Aunt Amber bought gingerbread houses to do together. The children all loved it.
Amber also wanted us to take Landin to get a real Christmas tree since they don't do that. Last year we waited a few weeks to get a tree and there were no good ones left. We got a great one this year!
Blurry- but you get the idea!
And we made s'mores in the fireplace!
Every night we had long games of Charades, which is so much fun. "2 words".....
It was a wonderful, wonderful Thanksgiving We love our family!
