Christmas Day

Christmas Morning 2019!  Everyone was up early and ready for the day.  We always have monkey bread for breakfast on holidays.  :)

We are blessed with generous family- Zaza and Big Grandpa, Aunt Amber and Uncle Tim and BB and Poppy shower them with presents.

This year was the LL Bean Christmas.  The four older ones all got new LL Bean coats, T and C got new LL Bean duffle bags, J, T and C got new LL Bean backpacks and Marc got some LL Bean work shits.  :)  Ha!

Julia got four pairs of shoes/boots!  Ha!  She needed them!  She had outgrown all she had.

We got BB a shirt that perfectly matched the one Dad was wearing.  :)

We put most of Annie's loot in one bag- she loved it all!  She was so happy!

Aunt Amber got her the Little People barn with extra animals.  Zaza sent her the Little People Noah's Ark- both were HUGE hits.  :)  We love Little People and the original claymation shows.

Hmm....even this "Extra-long" blazer is short on his arms.  It's hard being 6'5 and finding clothes.

One of my very favorite gifts were from Anastasia the musical.  I got them from the Broadway store online.  She got a sweet lavender cap with her name embroidered on front and a beautiful music box with an "A" on top.  It plays "Once Upon a December."

BB and Poppy headed out after presents so we could go to Mass- Poppy called it "Loot and Scoot".

Everyone got ready for Mass- the three boys wore black pants so they could altar serve.  I wish I'd gotten a picture of them in their robes and cassocks.

Baby Jesus was in the manger!  All the babies in the church love seeing baby Jesus arrive!

We had a nice Christmas lunch in the dining room- I guess I didn't take any pictures of that?  Then the children spent the afternoon and evening enjoying their new toys and games.  Julia is loving brush lettering-

We have been working this weekend on the new trampoline to replace our old one- a tree branch landed on the old one and broke the net and poles.  This new one is heavy duty and can hold 800 lbs.  Daddy and the boys worked hard getting it put together- it has a net too.

I think it works great! ;)

P.S.- we decorated the playhouse for the first time this year.  :)  So cute!

Oh- and P.S.- one of our FAVORITE Christmas movies is Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol.  It is so sweet!!!  They sing a precious song about not having much for Christmas and how all Tiny Tim really wants is "razzleberry dressing."  We love the song so much-

We sing the chorus all during the holidays-

We'll have the Lord's bright blessing and knowing we're together
Knowing we're together heart and hand.
We'll have the whitest Christmas
The very finest Christmas
A Christmas far more glorious than grand!

I was so happy to find "Razzleberry Pie" at the store- the children loved it!
