Florida Trip- Disney and Family

This past week Marc had a work event in Orlando near his hometown.  We decided to all go so we could see the family- we hadn't seen Grandpa in almost a year!  We drove down Wednesday.  Anastasia did well- she's not really a car sleeper, but she's generally happy.  We did get her to try headphones for the first time so we didn't all have to listen to Curious Buddies.  :)

On Thursday we got up and went to Disney.   We had free tickets so we decided to use the money to hire a tour guide and avoid lines.  We went to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios all in one day and rode every ride we had wanted to ride.

We had the best day!   Landin was not able to get out of school unfortunately, so they met up with us later.

Big Marc grew up by Disney so he was happy to stay with Anastasia and let the older kids and me ride the roller coasters.  Our guide did a great job of putting Marc and Annie in "little friendly" things like the Winnie the Pooh ride and Country Bear Jamboree while we did other things.

Here is our awesome guide, Tom!

"It's a Small World" blew her mind!  She LOVED it!

These two ride the most risky rides.  I rode Space Mountain and the Rockin' Roller Coaster with them.

The people mover!

Annie is such a trooper!  She's just happy to ride along!

She loves everybody and thought Tom was hilarious!  He even babysat her while we rode the Pandora Flight of Passage Ride and the Millennium Falcon ride.

We all loved the Millennium Falcon ride!

On Friday we hung out at Aunt Amber and Uncle Tim's house all day.  Zaza and Big Grandpa came up and we had a wonderful time.

We walked to the park and then took a long walk through the neighborhood.

It was about 70 degrees outside, but our Floridian relatives were cold!  :)  Zaza wore her parka!

The humidity had Anastasia's hair curling.  :)

Zaza was happy Annie Rosie let her hold her.

Friday evening we went to the dinner we had driven down for.

 Florida Governor DeSantis spoke-

And the guest of honor was Justice Clarence Thomas- I LOVED hearing him speak about his life and his term in the Supreme Court-

 Mickey "Mousse" for dessert-

While we were at the dinner, Aunt Amber and Uncle Tim watched the children and had a fun movie night with popcorn.  :)

Saturday we drove home- such a fast trip down and back-

We stopped at a Country's BBQ on the way back- it was one of my favorite restaurants in college (one of the few we had in my small college town).
