That day we bought Anastasia a new water table to play with. She LOVES it!!!!
When you water the flower on top it grows!
Marc grilled out steaks-
We read several books including the ones on the centerpiece and these-
We have gotten SO MANY overdue house chores done. We repainted the rusty wrought iron table and chairs-
I completely emptied every drawer and shelf in my bathroom and cleaned and organized it!
Repainted the arbor gate- BEFORE-
After-
Marky has power washed the front walk, the porch, decks and deck stairs. It all looks so much better! We even power washed the porch walls and roof. :)
We scrubbed every thing from the porch- we usually use dish soap and scrubby brush then rinse.
Aaaah. So nice. So clean and pollen free (for a minute). :)
We all like it!
We finally, finally tackled our garage! The whole time we've lived here we've wanted to really get the garage in shape, but have not had the time. We did it these past two weeks! Little by little every night. We started in the smaller garage-
After cleaning and scraping the floor and etching it with acid to prepare it for paint, we repainted the walls.
We had to do the same thing piece by piece on the bigger side- we've had these weights for 15 years, but it's never been a great spot.
(P.S. That wooden thing is a "wooden dummy" used for Kung Fu training).
Yay! Home gym complete!
I made these Stations of the Cross votive holders many, many years ago and get them out every year. They have been so precious this year as so many Friday Stations have been cancelled.
We light them all and then extinguish them after praying the meditation for each one.
We are blessed that our Cathedral broadcasts all their liturgies.
We have loved all the family time. We love not driving all over town for events. We get to really enjoy our baby and see the joy she has as she learns about the world. Bubbles!!
We do family walks every single day now. Usually in our neighborhood, but sometimes we go to the walking trail at the park. I love it!
Transfiguration-
By the way- this is a picture of JULIA. :) Lots of similarities to Annie Rosie.
One sport that didn't stop at the start of the pandemic is horseback riding. Julia takes lessons by herself and her teachers sits on a golf cart and shouts through the bullhorn. :)
March 25th was the Annunciation, when the angel Gabriel told the Blessed Mother she would bear the Son of God. That means 9 months until Christmas! :)
We had a nice home feast.
Annie is so cuddly now. If she wants to watch a baby show she says, "Cuddle Mommy", or "Cuddle Sissy". She likes to be held to watch a "showy".
We did some clay dinosaur models one day. These are their shirts from our trip to D.C. Spy Museum- "Deny Everything."
I am so grateful the weather has mostly beautiful for this quarantine at home.
Here is Annie reaching for the moon. Anytime she sees it she reaches for it and when pick her up to see if she can get it. :)
Okay- I will stop there for now. Blessings to all!
