More this and that.....

When we got home from the beach our new books had arrived!  I found these sweet books and was so excited- we call our baby girl Annie Rose and Annie Rosie.  These books are just precious and capture the sweetness of toddlerhood.

Daddy tries to work from the kitchen table in the mornings.  He gets a lot of help.

Someone left a marker in the playpen.

I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.  We finally returned to public Mass on Memorial Day weekend.

Annie has one big curl at the nape of her neck.  We call it her piggy tail.  Sometimes when she is messing up a room Daddy says it's been hit by the "piggy tail tornado".  :)

I just want to document that every single morning at breakfast the children read books while they eat.  It started with Marky over ten years ago.  He would always grab an encyclopedia or atlas or science book and read it while he ate breakfast.  The other children grew up thinking that's what you did.  So every morning they all quietly look at books while they eat.

BB and Poppy gave Julia money to get new boots for her birthday.  We finally got to the boot shop and bought them!

She went to drill team horse camp the last week in May.  It was interesting having a week with just the boys and Anastasia.

Keeping her happy during these long days at home usually means letting her get wet.  :)

And when she gets wet her hair curls up!

We celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary this month.  So grateful for our life together.

We were actually able to get reservations at "our place" and go out that night.

We got Anastasia a little craft/snack table and she loves it.

She LOVES to "splash in muddy puddles" like Peppa Pig.  :)

And she loves popsicles!

When we went to pick up Julia from drill team camp they put on a great show with the horses.  They did a choreographed number to music.  It was awesome.

Our soccer season basically didn't happen because of Covid, but we had one last game and team pictures Memorial Day weekend.  I didn't manage to get a picture of Marky's team, but he played as well.

We finally smartened up and got the baby pool outside.  Filling it up and playing in it occupies Anastasia for a long time.

We've done a lot of great reading this quarantine.  At some point I want to write down the books.

Annie likes to pretend to go to sleep.  "I seeping!"   Then she jumps up and says, "I wake up!"

We found her a rocking bunny the other day and she LOVES LOVES LOVES it!

She always hugs it when she walks by.

The first two weeks of June are blueberry picking season at BB and Poppy's orchard!  We picked three gallons the other day.  That's just a drop in the bucket of how many they have!

They don't all ripen at once so you go through and get all the dark blue ones.  The next day there are a bunch of new blue ones.....and on and on until they are all ripe.

 And Tucker picked a cucumber!

We have a neighborhood pool, but we also joined a community pool so we could see friends.  It's a lot of fun.

On Saturday Marc, Marky and Tucker went to a cornhole tournament for Fraternus.   Julia went to a rodeo clinic and Anastasia, Charlie and I went to BB and Poppy's.

And surprise of surprises- Tucker won third place in the tournament!!!  Out of tons of teams.  He won a $25 Amazon gift card along with his partner.

On Sunday, Father took the Eucharist and we had a procession around the block and blessed the four corners of our block.  We prayed for our city- for healing and peace.

And lastly, Anastasia is the snuggliest baby in the world.  Her first words every morning are "Snuggle Mommy!"  If she is scared at something she says, "Mommy, hold you!"  I love getting snuggles with this angel baby.
