October 2021- Part 1- Beach Trip, etc.

Another St. Michael's Day party with Pinata-

I took the three little ones to see "The Wind in the Willows" at Samford University-

Here is "Toad"-

Here we are making our annual wolf paw cookies for the feast of St. Francis of Assisi-

We are always updating things.  This time it was the half bathroom.  Anastasia and Charlie were big helps.

Before- it used to be painted dark red.  We have primed it to get it ready for wallpaper-

The old floor looked terrible and had cracks-

New floor- new sink, lights, and potty.  Still waiting for wallpaper installation.  It was supposed to be delivered in late October- we got it in late December.

Julia was thrilled when she tried out for Gwendolen, one of the leads in "The Importance of Being Earnest" and won the part! We are so excited to see her play in April!

For Fall break this year we went to....the beach.  Yes, this was the year for many, many beach trips.  But I refuse to turn down free trips.  While we usually go to the mountains in October, this year one of Marc's dear clients offered the use of his condo.  So we took him up on it!  It was the best time- I highly recommend the beach in October!  It has low crowds, but the water is still plenty warm!

Cleaned up and ready for Mass and a nice dinner out.  :)  Marky had driven over to Florida to a friend's weekend birthday party at his beach house.  He went for one night and came back.

We always run by Sweet Cone Alabama.  :)

And the magical crab hunt-

Tacky Jack's-

And Elberta, Al, is filled with oddities including dinosaurs and knights in the woods, a giant spider, and Bamahenge!

Last day of the trip we took a dolphin cruise-

We saw tons of dolphins playing!

Ended the day at OWA and dinner at Paula Deen's.

Annie was totally wiped out.  What a wonderful, wonderful trip.  We can't thank the kind client who gave us this week at the condo enough.  Memories with our little crew before Marc goes off to college.
