Now for November. :) Trying on her recital costume-
I am posting this in March and now she colors in the lines so well- such a big difference from just a few months ago.
All Saints day- November 1st!
We used our carrot cake because the saints are walking on streets of gold- 24 "carrot". :)
Got our beloved wooden saint collection out-and made a crown of stars to remember they have gone to their reward.
I teach Anastasia in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (a Montessori-based catechesis) on Sunday mornings. She loves it!
She loves playing with her wooden advent wreath!
Warming up after a bath-
Julia was excited to ride in the the National Veteran's Day parade- the largest Veteran's parade in the nation- here in Birmingham. Here she is pictured in front of our church!
We stood in the rain and brought Uncle Sam who told all the veteran's he thanked him for their service!
That night we went to a St. Martin's Day/Veteran's Day party with the traditional Lantern walk-
Marc had a BIG birthday in November, but we were unable to really celebrate because of our children's busy schedules. We did manage to have a little dinner and cake at BB and Poppy's. We were excited to see Poppy's new horse trailer. The barn is ready, the trailer is purchased- we just have to find the right horse!

Annie does crafts at her little table every.single.day. She LOVES do-a-dot, paint with water, playdough and even just crayons. She will sit and color a coloring book for a looooong time. I love seeing her concentrate.
She looked straight out of Sound of Music this Sunday-
The weekend of Marc's birthday the boys went to a regional robotics tournament. They did great!
Charlie's elementary team won!
And that same weekend, Marc's football team went to Panama City Beach for the NHSA 8-man football National Championship! They won- four in a row!!!!
Meanwhile, Julia got ready to start her first CHEERLEADING season for basketball!
Their uniforms weren't in for the first game so they wore their t-shirts-
Annie's Moms Day Out program put on the cutest Thanksgiving production and feast. Anastasia was "Dancing Flower." :)
We enjoyed reading our Thanksgiving books-
Annie Rose loved her Thanksgiving dress-
Meanwhile, Anastasia was sick for a lot of November/December. We ended up going to the doctor/emergency room FOUR times until it got worked out (one of those was an allergic reaction to the medicine so she got even sicker)-
But even sick she is happy and sweet as pie-
And she gets SO CUDDLY when sick-
We were supposed to host all of Marc's family for Thanksgiving. The day they were planning to fly up we called them and said we were all sick. We had the saddest, sickest Thanksgiving. Only Marc and Julia didn't get sick and prepared a Thanksgiving feast for us.
In this picture, Marky, Tucker, Charlie and Anastasia have fevers.
Everyone loved popping the crackers and reading the jokes inside-
Then it was back to rest- we were sick for a good long while! And no, it was not "THAT" sickness.
We went Christmas tree shopping the only night we could. I think Marc and Tucker had a choir concert.
One of the most magical parts of our back yard has always been this amazing tree house! There is a trap door to a gingerbread cottage underneath and a slide. Unfortunately, time had taken it's toll and it was falling apart- no longer safe for children.
We had a crew come take it apart. We were all sad, but it had to be done.
Here is Poppy doing his part-
In other news, our yard seems much bigger! We have plans to re-landscape and get it all spruced up for spring.
I realized one day that I had not ordered Christmas cards- in fact had forgotten all about them- and ran outside and took quick cell phone pictures of the children. I ended up loving them.
The lady at the hair salon styled Marc's hair after cutting it-
We took him to order some nice suits for college- he has extra extra long sleeves!
Julia ended up LOVING cheerleading! She did great and was so cute with the half-time dances! How much I loved having Julia cheer for Marky's team!

Charlie played Upward Basketball starting in November. He had two buddies on his team.
Oh, and one weekend Marc and Marky drove up to Christendom College in Front Royal, Va, to tour. they had a great time. A busy November!
