January 2022- Part 1- Tucker's birthday, Epiphany, Cheer and Basketball

 Happy New Year!  We brought in 2022 with our own little New Year's baby girl.  :)

 Tucker's birthday is always right at the beginning of January and we have to throw together something after the Christmas whirlwind.  We met BB and Poppy for a birthday supper before a basketball game.

Tucker donned his "Stiker Jr." costume for the game.  Everyone loves it!

And we LOVED having Julia as a cheerleader this year!  She really enjoyed it!

We sat in pop up chairs in the batting cages to keep Annie from wandering on the court.  :)

We haven't had a birthday party for Tucker in a few years so I texted some folks on a Tuesday and said- can you meet us Wednesday morning for a party and my amazing friends dropped everything and met us at Defy!  They had a ball!

They played a fun game called "Poetry for Neanderthals" which was hilarious.  

We came home and celebrate the Feast of Epiphany- one of our favorites!

The boys and I made star sugar cookies with homemade frosting.  They were so delicious. 

 

Then we watched "A Star Shall Rise" and later "The Fourth Wiseman."

One night Marc, Marky and I went to Montgomery for a basketball game.  We got their early enough to go to dinner and do a little college shopping before the game.  I cherish these sweet moments.  

Charlie played Upward Basketball- here is him and his buddies after a game.

We bought Julia her first car in January- before she had her driver's license!  We wanted her to learn on HER car.  She has done so great with it!
