This and that and Mt. Saint Helen's

Marky continues to have a wonderful time in the Pacific Northwest.

They have had beautiful concerts-

They may get dressed up and sing like angels, but they are all boys and play hard!

They visited Vista House at Crown Point-

While inside they sang a few songs like the National Anthem-

And "How Lovely is Your Dwelling Place"-

The second largest waterfall in the United States- Multnomah Falls-

They toured Portland's Pittock Mansion-

Today they saw Stadium High School.  This public school in Tacoma looks like Hogwarts-

And a huge highlight yesterday was seeing Mount Saint Helen's!

Marky said, "These mountains make the Smoky Mountains look like hills."  This is Mt. Hood.

Meanwhile back at home all is well.  Tucker loves seeing "Tuckerton" on the New Jersey map at
Jersey Mikes.  :)

I had to run by Michael's to get some containers for organizing and Tucker said, "Yay!!!!  Michael's- I love Michael's!"  We weren't in there two seconds before he had spelled "geography" with the metal letters.  Mr. Crafts is always creating.

A few Sunday pictures-

BB and Poppy had us out Sunday afternoon to help pick blueberries.  They have so many they welcome help in picking.  I think we picked three gallons.  We brought boots to avoid any ant issues.

One for me, one for the pie....

Tucker picked a tomato as well.  :)

We enjoyed feeding the fish and turtles-

Mr. Snugglebug gave BB some good hugs-

And we picked a cucumber!

And now we wash and dry five pans of blueberries before freezing them.  :)

Choir tour, etc

Apparently Marc is having a ball on his choir tour.  He has been gone 5 days and only called twice.  They have been in and around Portland mostly and enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

They enjoyed the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry-

They saw a BBC poster in a Starbucks while walking around Portland.  :)

I know they went to see some mountains and waterfalls and the Bonneville dam.

And he enjoyed seeing a salmon hatchery.

I can't wait to see all of his pictures when he gets back Wednesday.

We are having a nice week.  Julia loved her horse camp earlier this week- she really enjoyed trying Western-style riding.  It's very different from English hunter/jumper.  On Friday she had a special girls day out.  I dropped her off at a friend's neighborhood pool and the girls swam for 2 hours.  Then they got dressed and walked to her friend's home.  Then they walked to lunch down the street and to ice cream afterwards.  They felt very grown up.   (Mom could always see them) :)

Meanwhile the boys and I went to lunch at Johnny Rockets- our server went all out on the ketchup!

After lunch we went to a spend a Barnes n Noble gift card that they had.  They agreed to get this gel science kit and have loved it.

They also wanted to get out the microscope and have really enjoyed it.  I think I'm going to keep it out somewhere permanently over the summer.

He was looking at one of Daddy's hairs under the microscope-

Tucker said, "Whoa!  Is that a hair or a python in there!  We are really zoomed in!"

They decided they wanted a diving board for the puddle.  :)
