A perfect pumpkin day...

We've had the best end of the week-  Thursday the older children had a field trip to see the symphony orchestra perform with actors  a really neat version of "Trumpet of the Swan".  Thursday night we had soccer games- then this morning they had "gym day" with our homeschool cover group where they play dodgeball, capture the flag, etc.  After gym day we surprised them by heading out to the Grand Old Pumpkin Patch with Marc and BB and Poppy.  I learned several years ago that the best time to go to this pumpkin patch is Friday after 2- the field trips have left and people are going to high school football games.  It felt like we were the only people there- as opposed to Saturday morning when everything will have long lines.

BB spent a lot of time walking behind Charlie who toddles, toddles, toddles now- then she'd have to pick him up for snuggles- IMG_0617 IMG_0618 IMG_0619 IMG_0620 IMG_0623 IMG_0622
