We came home and celebrated Grandpa's 75th birthday! Wow!
After his birthday party we got the Wii U out and played Wheel of Fortune. It's one of our new favorite games. We love hearing the children spin the wheel saying, "big money, big money!" :) We usually play as a whole family versus the computer.
As an aside, Marky has become an expert at the Rubic's cube. He worked at it and can solve it and the pyraminx with ease now.
On Saturday we drove to Anniston. Zaza and I took Julia, Landin and Charlie to the Anniston Museum of Natural History. They loved it!
Meanwhile Daddy and Big Grandpa took Tucker and Marc to the Berman Museum of World History. It has tons of war history and weapons that the boys love.
On the way home we stopped by Bass Pro Shops.
Everyone loved the shooting range.
On Saturday we all went to the dollar movie. Zaza and Granpa took the children to see "The Good Dinosaur" and to play in the arcade. Marc and I got to watch "The Finest Hours," about a truly AMAZING Coast Guard rescue. I don't know why this movie didn't get more press. It was awesome.
On Saturday evening we were blessed to able to attend the Easter Vigil service at a local convent. The Sisters sounded like angels and sang the Hallelujah Chorus at the end. Gorgeous! We were running late so we didn't get any pretty pictures in their Easter clothes. We will have to do a reshoot sometime! Part 2 of our trip will follow. :)
