Conference at the beach

Every summer Marc attends a legal conference at the beach, and we try to take advantage of a vacation paid for by the firm.  This year it was at Baytowne Wharf in Destin, Fl.   BB and Poppy had offered to keep Charlie, but he really wanted a buddy to stay with him.  Awesome brother Marky offered to go to the farm with Charlie so we only took Julia and Tucker.  It was fun having the middle children- they really do get lost in the shuffle sometimes.  They liked their special time.

We arrived Wednesday evening in time for dinner at Lulu's on the water.

And we went to Daddy's favorite- Dippin' Dots- twice!

Thursday, Friday and Saturday while Daddy was in morning meetings- the children and I swam.  Then we would come and get cleaned up before lunch and Daddy would be back.  It worked perfectly.

At night we mainly walked around the village- there are tons of things to do and see.

Marc, Julia and Tucker all rode the zip line twice!

"Hi Mommy!"

Pirate magic show-

On Friday we went to see Finding Dory and shopped at the outlets.

Our dive sticks became a hit- they had huge dive stick competitions with new friends-

On Saturday afternoon we let them do the ropes course.  I was so proud of Julia for doing it- she was nervous, but she did great!  Tucker seemed to have no worries.

Sissy DID NOT like the tight rope section- she was fine with the rest of it.

Tucker and Daddy made it to the tip top to ring the bell!  Sissy stayed one level below.

 Then they  jumped!

So grateful that we can tag along with Marc's work sometimes.  Thank you Daddy for working so hard- Happy Father's Day to Marc, Poppy, Big Grandpa, Pawpaw, and all the wonderful fathers out there!

Donna, we were in Destin all last week! & our sitter, who we took to help with the boys, and I shopped at the outlets on Thursday. My boys love the beach and pool too.
