She's 12!

Well our little sweetie pie is twelve years old.  She's growing into a lovely young woman.  Sissy, you were so little for so long I used to say you would always be the baby in the family because of your young, innocent spirit.    You have been a joy your whole life.

And now you are twelve.  And you look so much older and you act so much older.

You have had a wonderful year.  You are around 5'4 now.  You still love horses and all animals.

Last summer you went to show choir camp and sleep-away camp and had a ball.

You loved our trips to the beach and the bay-

And you had the time of your life on our trip to Italy!  We saw so much and you still talk about it almost every day!

You love swim team, and you are a beautiful piano player.  You play the piano all the time now.  You have even made up some beautiful songs to play.  You have a lovely singing voice and people have often come up to me after church and said, "your daughter sings so beautifully."  :)  You may be a quiet talker, but you are an enthusiastic singer and have learned a lot in the Children's Schola.

You have the sweetest friends who are innocent and playful like you are.  We are so grateful.

We love you so much and are so grateful for the sweet little girl you are.  You have been so helpful to us lately around the house.  You help clean and prepare meals and read to the boys.  You are still a soft-spoken, quiet girl, but you are not shy.  You are outgoing and happy to meet and talk with anyone.  You love to read and still have very keen observation skills.  You were one of my best history students this year- you really paid attention.   Happy, Happy Birthday to our lovely young lady.  What a wonderful role model your little sister will have in you.

We already celebrated your birthday party so today we met BB for lunch (Poppy is out of town).  Daddy surprised us and met us for your birthday lunch as well.  He knew you had American Heritage Girls tonight and he wouldn't get to see you- you were so happy to see him.  :)

BB got you the cutest monogrammed gifts!  And Zaza and Grandpa sent you money!  Daddy and I got you an American girl horse you really wanted and a few clothes.  You were very happy.

Happy birthday sweet girl!
