We had a wonderful Easter Sunday. Daddy and I always decorate the house for Easter after everyone goes to bed.
This year, we were planning a trip on an airplane for the next day so everyone got new headphones and masks for the trip, along with other things.
We always make our cross-shaped monkey bread for Easter morning-
They used their new modeling dough to make the Good Friday crucifixion-
For the record, we would never normally wear black pants for Easter, but the three boys were altar serving and you have to wear black pants for that. :)
Easter Sunday also happened to be Julia's 15th birthday! BB came that evening for dinner (and would be staying at the house with Anastasia while we traveled) and we celebrated Julia!
Julia, you are such a blessing to our family! You are gentle and kind and care for Anastasia like a little Mommy. You are an excellent all A student and amazing horse girl! You are a great piano player, clarinet player, runner, actress and painter! We are amazed at your many gifts. Here is your latest oil painting of your brass bookend-
Happy birthday sweet Julia! We love you!
In other news, we moved the twin beds from the extra guest room into the boys room and move their bunk beds to the extra guest room/lego room. Annie enjoyed helping us.
Tucker had the top bunk for years, and he sure did love it. :)
While getting ready for the trip, I asked the boys to make a train track in the playroom for Anastasia to play with while we were gone. They certainly did. :)
