Anastasia, Soccer, Post Office Field Trip, Lacrosse

Well our angel baby, our little sunshine, our little dump cake turned 10 months old!!!

Oh Anastasia we love you so much!!!  You are absolutely adored by your family.  You are the happiest baby, you almost never, ever fuss.  We are so grateful for you!  You still are the best sleeper.  You take a 2 hour morning nap and a 2-3 hour afternoon nap.  You sleep 7:30-7 and have for like six months or so.

You love, love, love to play with toys and putt around.  You are happy sitting on the floor near my feet playing with anything at all- even a sock can entertain you.  You are hard to hold- you lean way out and down when we hold you.  You still love bath time and spend most of the time sucking on the washcloth.  You have around 6 teeth now- four on bottom and two on top.  You wear size 24 months clothes.  We sing to you all day and you love it.  We have a few bath time songs, a diaper changing songs, many lullabies for bedtime.  You love to swing your head side to side when you hear music.
You still do the "Annie wiggle" when we wake you up.  You wiggle side to side with the biggest smile!

You have learned to clap your hands on command, wave hello, and you can point to people's noses and mouths.  You have mastered the pincer grasp and feed yourself most anything you want.  You love to drink water out of sippy cups and straws.

You are a happy, giggly little punkinface and we love you!  I thank God every day for this happy little angel he gave us!

"Clap hands!"

You LOVE to swing!

You do NOT like the car wash, but you have the sweetest brothers who get you through it.  "It's okay sweet girl....just a little bit longer....you are being brave, Annie!"  :)

 And they keep you entertained-

Everyone knows you at church- you stare people down.

In other news....

The boys had their last soccer games today!  They had a wonderful season with their buddies.

Is there any question who climbed highest in the tree?  Our master tree climber Tucker!

Also, today after the last game all the Dads and older brothers had a big game against each other- so much fun!

I had the joy of taking my two little guys on a field trip to the post office last week.   We toured the post office and the truck and learned how the mail gets sorted and shipped.

Lacrosse season is finally, finally wrapping up.  It is a tough game- look at the bruises Marc has gotten!

BB and I went to his game in Auburn last weekend.  We loved touring Auburn University- it is so big now.  Marc's team won the game- we had a great time.

This and that

This past week was crazily busy.  In addition to our already packed schedule, we started soccer, had two choir concerts, two lacrosse games, two doctor's appointments, one unscheduled orthodontist appointment, a field trip, a kitchen contractor appointment, St. Patrick's Day and a St. Joseph's Day party.  On top of that I managed to contract the flu and be down for three days, but through God's mercy no one else was sick.

I was sick on St. Patrick's Day, but the children were all dressed in green for church.  Anastasia went to Sunday School with Daddy.  :)

Soccer started for Tucker and Charlie.  We are playing in a very low-key church league with NO practices- it's just our speed!  They had so much fun playing with their buddies.

It was freezing, but everyone there took turns with baby girl and kept her warm.  :)

We got out the lion scooter this week and Anastasia loves it!  She loves toys!  :)

Waiting for Marky's lacrosse practice to end- she is always smiling at Mommy!

On March the 21st was spring- so we wore flowers!  :)

We had a lovely tour of the art museum's exhibit "Embodying Faith:  Imagining Jesus through the Ages."  Our docent was very knowledgeable and made it very interesting.

Marc leaves for his choir tour to Ireland soon.  They had a final concert at a nursing home on Thursday evening.  They sounded great!

We drove straight from the concert to a lacrosse game- this train doesn't slow down!  The game was a lot of fun- I love watching high school sports.

Little Bit is now learning to barrel race!  She loves it!

We are watching The Prince and the Pauper (1962 version) for movie night.  The 60s Disney movies are almost always great.

We also watched Treasure Planet last weekend.  It's a "Treasure Island" story set in outer space- the boys loved it.

The week before that we showed them the original Tron movie- they thought it was interesting.
