St. Augustine Part 2- Marineland and Cape Canaveral

On Thursday we were able to the complete two parts of our mission with this trip- going to Marineland and Cape Canaveral.

When we went to Marineland in 2017 we heard about the "Dolphin Trainer for a Day" program, but Julia was only 11 and you had to be 13.  We told her one day we would come back and let her do it (she is SUCH an animal lover and especially loves horses and sea animals).

Anastasia and I took her there Thursday morning and she had the time of her life!

We left Julia there and I decided to get the groceries with Anastasia, which was SO HARD.  I totally forgot how hard it is to take a two year old to the store.  :)

While we were gone, Julia performed in two dolphin shows.  In the first public show she was the dolphin trainer and led the dolphins in their tricks.  In the second show, the one we saw, she swam with the dolphins!

She rode the dolphin all the way across the pool!  It was so awesome!

My little sidekick. :)

And here are the awesome professional pictures from her day!

She brought home her dolphin's painting-

Meanwhile, Daddy took the boys to Cape Canaveral to see the Kennedy Space Center.  After watching the Space X launch, they wanted to see it for themselves!

They did have to wear masks inside and many things were closed including the bus ride to the launch site.  So we were give four free tickets to use next year!

That night we had dinner and then walked on the beach hunting ghosts crabs.
