Pentacost, Tucker's summer camp, et al

This Sunday was the Feast of Pentacost!  We have always loved Pentacost, but now that our church lets rose petals fall (ala The Pantheon) we love it even more!  Come Holy Spirit!

Charlie and his buddies were so excited!  Marc and Tucker were altar serving and had to remain composed.  :)

Tucker enjoyed the second half of his first sleepaway camp.  They went horseback riding, made pottery, and went to an indoor water park in addition to the things pictured.

For the talent show, they apparently wrote and put on a skit called "Billy the Silly," where Tucker acted ridiculous, while his friend read the poem.

Billy the Silly
by: Tuckerman

I once knew a cousin named Billy.
To tell you the truth he was very silly.
He laughs people all to the ground,
When he plays hide and seek he can never be found!

He makes people all so jealous;
He attracts lots of folks and fellows.
People love him, he's such a clown,
He cracks people up and not down!

It's Billy the Silly-
He's the funniest guy a round.
It's Billy the Silly-
He soon became a circus clown.
Yeah!

I drove up to pick them up on Friday afternoon and saw the "awards" ceremony.  Every child gets a fun award.  Tucker won the "Screenwriter" award for "Billy the Silly."

I said, "Where are your shoes?" and he said, "oh, they are all packed!"

We had a quiet ride home.  They were all exhausted and wanted to relax with a movie.

They all said they were happy to be back in a "real home," and to see Annie!

And I always have to end with gratuitous pictures of Anastasia Rose.  I took her to the train table at the bookstore for the first time. All our babies have loved train tables.

This little sunshine loves toys and loves to play-

This week we celebrated the birthdays of two close friends- so blessed to have great friends!
