February, basketball, snow, etc.

February 1st is the Feast of Candelmas.  We ordered some beeswax candles and took them to be blessed.

We ordered a candle-shaped cookie cutter and made candles for the day.   The little boys LOVE liturgical baking.  :)

The boys brought Lil Striker back out for a few basketball games.  He is always a big hit.  :)

We had several sweet friends come out to basketball games.  :)

I will even sit on the other team's side if it  means I get to laugh with Stacey all night!

The boys had an AWESOME basketball season. I just love their coach- he is so encouraging and gets the best out of his players.

A little Super Bowl snacking-

Tucker liked his hair long and curly, but I finally talked him into letting me get it cut.  He looks handsome both ways.

Here's my sweetie pie all dressed up for her Valentine's party at Moms Day Out.

She even had Julia's heart stockings.  :)  I love this baby girl!

Marc's basketball team made it to the final four of their conference and came in fourth at the tournament.  They played hard and got better and better each game.  I LOVED watching them play.  I didn't take enough pictures and never even got a team pic, but they are great boys and I hope Marc can play again next year.

Pink roses are my favorite flowers, and I love to get them for Valentine's Day!

My bakers made some Valentine's Day treats-

And we read some of our Valentine books-

My bakers also made a king cake for Fat Tuesday-

The children went to a youth group banquet for Valentine's Day- they looked so lovely!

A quick pic of the little boys altar serving-

And Marc as the MC-

A little winter baby-

Daddy bought Julia and Annie a rose each for Valentine's day- Annie carried hers around everywhere.

We had a surprise snow one day.

After playing outside, I said to Marc, "You know what sounds really good right now?  A grilled burger."  :)  After realizing I was serious, he actually did it, and they were delicious!  :)

All of our babies have done language lessons at the coffee table in the early elementary years.  Charlie is the fourth, and I still enjoy it so much.  Here he is working on his spelling.

He had no idea why  I was taking pictures.  I just want to remember these special days.

Annie eating a peach in the den, which she is not supposed to do.  :)

I got a haircut that I actually like.  I haven't like my hair in a long while.

And that's all for now!
