Striker Jr., Pumpkin Patch, County Fair, Homecoming, etc.

October has been such a busy month!  I am so behind with blogging, but Marc really wants me to keep going so I will try!

One afternoon a few weeks ago the little boys disappeared for a long time.  They reappeared with the most precious "Striker Jr." costume!  It even had black mesh for the eyes (they cut up a laundry hamper).  :)  It was so adorable.   They take turns wearing it.

We got a new fall decoration.   :)  I hope the neighbors don't mind.

That week they wore the costume to the game.  They took turns all night- one would be striker, and the other would be striker's handler.  :)  They were very professional.

Everyone LOVED them!   Striker Jr. was a HUGE hit!  Everyone wanted pictures with him.

The head coach even came off the field for a shot-

Running down and high fiving the front row-

They have always LOVED the real Striker- and he was SO SWEET about the boys costume. He even invited Striker Jr. to come to the Homecoming game and perform with Big Striker, which they did the next week!

Marc's football game was moved to Thursday instead of Friday because of rain so we had ONE free family afternoon to try to fit in the pumpkin patch.  :)    It was a rainy day, but it quit raining for two hours- the two hours we went to the patch.  It ended up being a perfect family day.

A few Sunday pictures.  :)

And this is a random college photo, but I don't know where else to put it.  My sorority is having a giant reunion and this picture was on the registration page.  I had never seen it, and it makes me smile.  :)  I remember this was at a pep rally.  We had so much school spirit!

One day I dropped Julia off at piano lessons and took my little sweetie pie to lunch- just the two of us.  It was such a precious time.  She is the happiest, sweetest little baby.

She kept saying, "We are having a fun lunch, right Momma?"  "This is a fun day, isn't it, Momma?"

These boys love to cook.  They are always in the kitchen with me, and they even get upset if I cook without them.  They made these pork chops on their own!

Our little trumpet player, Tucker, asked for a notebook with music staffs.  He is writing all kinds of music to play.  He is doing a great job!

Last year, we went to the Cullman County Fair and had a great time, but Tucker was sick and didn't get to go.  I grew up going to the fair every year and wanted them to have the experience, so one night I took Tucker, Julia and Charlie up for the night.  We had so much fun and ran into our friends who had told us about this fair in the first place.

Brave Tucker rode the Fireball-

The boys had their first funnel cake-

Such a sweet time, and another check of the fall bucket list.  :)

I love taking pictures of Annie Rosie!  :)

She loves going to see her "baby friends"-  and they love her too.  :)

On a Thursday night last week they had the Homecoming pep rally and dance.  It was so much fun.  At one point they had a football player dance contest and I was so shocked when Marky participated!

And then Friday night at the Homecoming Game, Striker Jr. worked with Striker ALL NIGHT.  It was ADORABLE!

They did  a funny skit where Striker couldn't lift a 1,000 pound weight but Striker Jr. could!
.

The next day Marc, Marky and Tucker went to the Fraternus Father/Son campout.  They had a wonderful time hiking, fishing, praying and enjoying the outdoors. Tucker slept in a hammock ALL NIGHT- it was freezing!  He was proud of himself.  :)

Meanwhile, Julia spent the day with sweet friends-

So, I spent my Saturday with my two babies.  It was such a nice time.  :)

Julia drew this horse and I love it-

My grandmother painted this little desk for me MANY years ago, and I am so happy that we still have it and use it.

Anastasia loves it-

And that's all for now!  :)
