Back in Baby's arms....

Well Daddy finally came back in town- he was in a trial and gone for ten nights!  That's the longest I've stayed with the four babies by myself.  Three of the nights last week BB came and helped and the first two nights the big kids stayed at BB's so she could take them to their P.E. class while I took Charlie to the doctor.   They LOVE staying at BB and Poppy's.  This time they carved a pumpkin, baked brownies, rode the four wheeler in the cold and watched what they wanted on TV- life is good when you go to BB's!




The children and I did well for these 10 nights without Daddy. They were no trouble- okay they were a little trouble..... :)  Here's Charlie unpacking his dresser drawers- he doesn't want Mommy to get bored-



 Last Thursday Tucker's class had "community helpers day" and he went as a train conductor- you can't tell but his hat and shoes were Thomas the Tank Engine- all hand-me-downs from Markyboy-

 

 I think he couldn't see because his hat was too low. :) Yes- that's a real whistle- bet his teachers were excited to see that!

 

 Daddy got back last night and he took off early today so he could mow the grass- he and Tucker and mowing together. Tucker always mows with Daddy- not for a minute- for the entire time- he just walks along and loves it.

As he was running away I got a quick shot- poor little guy has been sick for weeks and weeks.  And teething on top of it.  He's still my precious punkin, though.
 

Halloween 2012!

What's up with the slow blogging you ask?  Well, Daddy is working in a long trial out of town so Mommy has been manning the fort solo!  Thankfully, BB and Poppy have been helping me and were here to celebrate Halloween, which was so much fun!  Introducing- Darth Vader, Grapes, and the Princess (Rapunzel) and the Frog!


Darth wouldn't take any of his light sabers because they were blue and Darth's have to be red. We went back and forth on this, but the boy wouldn't budge!

 

We borrowed this Rapunzel dress for Sissy and she was so happy it was her favorite color- purple!

And what can I say about Cutie McCutie?!!! He was so adorable in these grapes!

BB could eat him up! This picture taken right before he had a diaper malfunction which meant we had to get rid of the green suit!

I think he did it because he didn't like the grape outfit. So we changed him into footy pajamas and the sheep- but he disliked that even more!

So we threw the grapes back on top of the blue jammies and were on our way-

Lesson learned- don't wear a college football team sweatshirt as you trick or treat- it sends mixed signals - you hate my school, but I want some candy!
 

After a million pictures, it was time to load up and hit the road! Tucker and Charlie rode in the wagon-
 

Poppy and I took them around while BB handed out candy at the house-

Charliebear only lasted about four houses, then he stayed with BB while we finished up! Trick or treat!
 

We ran into neighbors and Sissy got to trick or treat with her friend-

Such a wonderful night! Thank you BB and Poppy- I couldn't have done it without you!
