Christmas Card Pics

Thank you everyone for your well-wishes. I don't remember ever having the flu before and no, we didn't get flu shots. It's just as awful as they say. It started Tuesday with Marky having a high fever and a cough and the other two having mild fevers. Then on Wednesday morning Marky never got out of bed. I finally went up there and gave him tylenol (b/c he was on fire) and said, "get up when you are feeling better". About 45 minutes later I went back upstairs and found him laying on his stomach on the floor at the top of the stairs. (Yes, it scared me to death). I said, "what's wrong?!" and he said, "I can't walk." That's when I knew it was the flu and got everyone in the car and headed to the doctor. Marc met me and carried Marky in (he literally couldn't walk and his fever was still sooo high). Then the doc found out it was swine flu and treated all three kids. All the while I am waiting in the car my fever gets higher and higher and then I ache all over and have chills. The good news is that supposedly swine flu has a shorter duration than regular flu and we are all on tamiflu now and big Marc has so far stayed well enough to take care of all of us. The flu is definitely not like a cold- you can't just push through and fold some clothes or wrap some presents- the flu shuts you down! P.S. For you homeopathic types out there, we are taking oscillococcinum that we got at Whole Foods, and I think it's probably helping.

Anyway, here are some highlights from this year's Christmas card photo shoot of fun. My favorite shots were the outside shots, but Tucker had just woken up from his nap and was in no mood to smile until the sun had gone down and we'd moved the photo shoot inside. :) I hope you have a Merry Christmas and enjoy your families!

Goodness gracious. What fun Poppy and I had during Christmas, and looking at these pictures just makes me miss those cherubs more.
We left after lunch during a snow fall....so had a real WHITE CHRISTMAS!
Hope you're all feeling much better very soon. It broke my heart to see you and Marky being so sick during the holidays....I think Marky had the worst case.
"Well" spelled backwards is "llew". Makes no sense, just as being sick makes no sense.
Ain't I just full of wisdom? "Teg llew noos" is "Get well soon" backwards. Do it...frontwards or wackwards!
