Day at the Farm

Today we got to enjoy a wonderful day at BB and Poppy's farm.  We got there and had lunch and then played all day.

Poppy took the children on a wagon ride to show them the things growing and the things being planted.

By the way- Tucker lost his first tooth today!  :)

Putting out corn for the deer-

 We saw where the beavers have been chomping all the trees to make their dam-

Then it was time to get the paddle boat and canoe out!  Poppy built this paddle boat trailer by hand.

Julia is our fishergirl- she fished while Daddy and Marky paddled her around.  Then she fished on the dock for a long time.

The little boys love casting their corks into the water and reeling them in.  At one point Tucker siad, "hey- is there bait on here?  Poppy- this is a fake fishing pole!"  :)  He's caught on!

Later Marky and Marc went fishing and caught a great bass!

Around this time we had some great drama.  Tucker's pole was dropped in the water and Marc was trying to rescue it off the bottom of the lake from the boat.  At the same time Julia cast her line and hooked the boat roof and Tucker got his finger stuck in the hole of an umbrella holder.

We were all fishing and heard Tucker say, "oh no- I hope this won't be the end of me!" :)  It was crazy chaos everywhere.  Tucker was screaming and his finger was swelling and truly stuck.  We had soap and water and Pam and finally wiggled it out- but he did bleed some.

All that finger drama meant Tucker needed a cup of milk, some cuddling with BB and a show.  Of course, wherever Tuck goes- Charlie goes to.  :)

After a while Tucker said, "hey everybody- my finger feels all better!"  :)  We love you Tuck Tuck!
