More this and that :)

Not much news this week.  When I am teaching school to the older two- the little two keep themselves busy.  By the way, Tucker is a peacock- not a Vegas showgirl.  :)

On Monday I dropped Julia off at horseback riding, Marky off at basketball practice and ended up alone with my sweet boys.  We went to Moe's for dinner.  Eating with these two is just precious.  Every word out of their mouth makes me smile.  :)

Speaking of horseback riding- Julia got a new "show helmet" on Monday.  She hopes to do some shows this spring and needed an upgrade.

She and her friend take lessons together.   They have the same coats, same hats, same fleeces, same name!

Marc picked her up on Monday and she got to shop one on one with Daddy.  Our sweet helper.

The boys had a Troops of St. George meeting last night.  It was at our house.  Most of the boys were sick, but we had a few.  It was a great meeting- they talked about active learning versus passive and how too much passive activity- t.v., video games, etc. can dull your brain.  We want to use technology not be used by it.

Tucker really got into this- he's asked me all day- "Mommy is this an active or passive activity?"  :)  Marc asked them if anyone knew the law of the troop- and little Tucker rattled it off.  No one could believe it- and someone said, "wow- well can you say it backwards?"  And what do you know- he said it backwards as fast as he said it forwards!  :)

After the prayers and talk the boys went downstairs and did wood working.  Marc gave each boy a beam to do what he wanted with.  They learned how to read a level, measure out wood pieces and the best way to saw and hammer.  They loved it!
