They got to pet one of the Auburn horses-
Meanwhile back at home, Marc's basketball game was cancelled on Saturday due to a power outage at the gym. His buddy came home with us for the afternoon to play until their Fraternus cookout. They stopped by a restaurant parking lot where a lot of fancy cars were being shown.
Then it was time to play in the woods and get some kindling.
Marc and the boys play in the woods all the time. Here are a few pictures from earlier this week-

Daddy and his little buddy taking a break. Sometimes Marc says, "let's sit on the log and see how quiet we can be and what we can hear." Even squirmy Tucker can do it.
Here's a picture from the Fraternus cookout/bonfire. Fraternus is similar to Troops, but it's only for boys ages 11 and up.
Tucker always wants to sleep in his "tent" on the floor of his room. :) He doesn't fit in it at all, but that apparently has nothing to do with it.
I found the boys walking around with straws in plums. They said, "we are having some fresh plum juice!"
And a few Sunday pictures-
Sweet Sissybug. I love these Lands End twirl dresses.
Now when I say "Charlie tell them what you are," he says, "Mommy's wittle wascal." :) He is a little rascal too- he turns on the dishwasher, coffee maker, he opens the trunk of the car, texts people gibberish from my phone. He is drawn to electronic buttons like a moth to a flame. But I sure do love my wittle wascal.

Still smiling seeing these happy days. Sometimes one would like to freeze time, but the best is yet to come.
