Christmas Eve

BB and Poppy always come stay with us for Christmas Eve.  When they got to our house we were just getting ready to take treats to and sing to our sweet neighbors. 

Right when we finished singing Santa came flying by on a firetruck!

Then it was time to open their "Secret Santa" gifts.  Each child drew the name of another child and they used their OWN MONEY to buy their sibling a gift.  It was precious. 

Tucker got Charlie a laser tag gift (that they've played with ever since). 

Charlie got Tucker a space sleeping bag!

Marky bought Julia a shuffle and ear phones. 

Julia got Marky a WiiU Star Wars game and Legos. 

Then we did our annual "12 Days of Christmas" song.  Charlie was "5 golden wings".  :)

Then we drove around and looked at Christmas lights.  Afterwards Daddy read us The Christmas Story, which led to funny questions like:

Charlie:  Which angel is Harold?
Tucker:  What does "exceeding" mean?

Then the children were off to bed!

BB and Poppy helped us wrap presents and stuff stockings.  Charlie lost his "Sleepy sheep" a few years ago and we have looked and looked and can't find him.  I found "him" on ebay and it blew Charlie's mind on Christmas morning to find Sleepy Sheep back in the fold!
