6 mos checkup, Las Posadas, Boys Choir Concert

Happy Anastasia had her 6 months checkup this week.  She is 19.8 lbs (90-97%), 28 1/4 inches long (>97%) and her head circumference is 17 3/4 (>97%).  So she's a typical of our babies- they are all off the charts.

Marky went with me to the appointment to carry the car seat and help.  We found out that when we make this sheep dance she cackles and belly laughs!  :)  She is such a jolly baby.

Marc and Julia went to see "It's a Wonderful Life" at the Alabama Theater this week.  I took the three little ones to the science center and we had the best day.  It reminded me of when Marc and Julia were little and we spent our days adventuring.

Tucker held Annie on the train ride- she loved it!

One of the workers showed him a really cool science trick with nails-

Anastasia slept for some of the time.  I am so glad she can sleep in a stroller.

Last night was the Birmingham Boys Choir Christmas concert.   We used a babysitter for the first time in years.  Sadly, Anastasia did not want to go to bed for her sweet sitter.  She was wide awake when we got home. BB says I was difficult as a baby with sitters.  Guess she is Mommy's girl.

Tucker is on the front row wearing the medal-

Marc is on the back row third from the left-

Proud of our choristers!

And this week was the Los Posadas at the convent.  We journey from inn to inn looking for room for Joseph and Mary.  Daddy was an innkeeper and had no room because of a "Pharisee convention."  :)

Tucker and Charlie were shepherds-

Everyone sang and cheered when the final inn had room in their stable for the Holy Couple.  Then there was celebrating with hot chocolate and cookies.
