Annual May Beach Trip

Every year we go to the beach the week before school gets out.  It's the last week of reasonable prices and there are no crowds.  And I love, love, love it!

This year we weren't sure how in the world we would get all seven of us along with Anastasia's baby gear and beach gear in our car.  Thursday evening we ran and bought a roof rack bag and that saved the day!  We were able to get 4 suit cases, a pack-n-play, high chair seat, stroller, beach umbrellas, beach chairs, cooler, sand toys, and all the other gear to the beach in one SUV.

Anastasia was an absolute joy to travel with.  She was happy and sweet and has been this entire time!

As always, I drove and Daddy worked.  He had to file a brief and was typing away the entire trip.

We got to town and picked up the keys and grabbed pizza at our usual place.

 Then we got to the condo and were so happy!  The best baby in the world went right to sleep for a late nap when we set up her pack-n-play and Daddy kept working on his brief while I took the four oldest to the pool.

As it got darker we went to the indoor pool-

Daddy still had work to do so while the younger children got showered and ready for bed, Marky, Anastasia and I went to Publix and got all the groceries for the week.  Again, Annie was an angel!

The next day we spent all day at the pools!

 

 

 

Annie LOVED the lazy river!  She just floated around in her Mambo seat-

We found this seat online- it's for babies too young to use a puddle jumper, but who want freedom!  Anastasia was so happy in hers!

We had lunch on the pool deck-

After swimming all day we got cleaned up and went to Mass.  After Mass we went to a nice dinner at Cotton's-

After dinner we went and played on the beach-
