She exuded happiness and joy in her very essence from the first moments of her life. We all knew she was a happy little girl and have come to love her sunny personality.
And now one year later that little baby girl has turned ONE!
Annie, you have been such a delightful, alert little baby! You have been ready for action since day one. You were sleeping through the night at 8 weeks, rolling all over the living room at four months, crawling, standing and cruising by 7 months and now there is no stopping you. You love toys and love to play in your playpen, babyland (the playroom play area), and in the living room. You love music and dancing and bounce back and forth when you hear any music.
You have many tricks including waving, kissing, clapping hands, dancing, and pointing to yourself when we say, "Where's Annie?" You love to watch baby shows and you especially love baby books. You never tire of being read to. And you will often sit and thumb through your books.
We all adore you. You are the delight of our home and we all fawn over you all day long. You suck all the air out of the room when you see one of us and squeal with joy! We fight over who gets to get you out of your crib because we all want to see that first squeal and smile! You are the tallest baby!! You are 31 1/2 inches long and 24 lbs 11 oz. Off the charts like all of our babies. You will eat just about anything and love to feed yourself with your left hand. You don't mind wearing bonnets or bows and let me dress you however I please. Thank you for being you, Annie Rosie!
You love bunnies and your favorite lovey is "Brendan P. Bunny." It's a bunny we bought in Ireland in 2014 when I was pregnant with Brendan Patrick. After we lost him, I brought the bunny to his funeral and had him the whole day. We have had him saved on a shelf with souvenirs from that time.
At some point, Annie found that bunny and decided he was her favorite bunny. You adore him and it makes us so happy to see you have such joy from the bunny that was with us during the struggles.
So this year when it was time to have a birthday party theme, all I could think of was bunnies, especially Brendan P Bunny.
And they made you the cutest little smash cake!
We loved getting it all set up. :)
Tucker made every single one of these pink tissue paper roses. It was such a labor of love. I said, "you don't have to make all those, we will just use what you have made so far." He said, "No- it's worth it for Annie."

The cake was definitely a hit! You were very interested right off the bat. You did NOT love the crowds of people though so we whisper-sang the Happy Birthday song. :)
Her adoring fans-
Happy, happy first birthday sweet Sunshine! We love you so much!!!
P.S. I found the perfect stationary for your thank you notes. :)
