They woke up every morning and jogged to the boat house at 5 a.m. and rowed. Then breakfast and tons of workouts- then more rowing! It was intense!
He's in the red t-shirt towards the right-
Here is his bunk- his bed is over the desk. They stayed in the barracks and they ate in the dining hall family style just like the Naval Academy cadets do.
There were 97 boys there this week- he is literally on the back row of this picture.
We picked him up at the airport yesterday all tanned and worn out. :) We also picked up cousin Landin a few hours later!
And yes, even though it was super late, we still went to hibachi for dinner per our tradition when Landin comes in town. :)
I was remembering how we all went to Annapolis and saw the Naval Academy in September 2016 when Daddy had a case up there. I love that town.
Julia is at summer camp this week with some friends. We pick her up Friday and then next week she and Landin will go to camp! This picture is from last Sunday afternoon when we dropped them off!
We are loving summer. Even though we can't swim because of Charlie's broken arm, it still feels easy, breezy, summery!
Eating homemade peach cobbler on the porch after supper-
We are brushing up on our math facts. Everyone knows them, but they are too slow. We are doing flashcards at night and competing in order to speed them up.
Dumpydoo is doing great. She is a happy, happy little girl. She has already gotten one molar and the other three are moving on in!
Annie met the Chick Fil A cow last weekend. Hmmmm.....not sure about you, Sir.
That's right.....just walk away. :)
This week while Marc was at Navy Camp and Julia was away at camp I just had the three little guys. They have been doing to Catholic Kids Week from 9-12 and then we have had fun in the afternoons. Here Tucker put his name tag on his chin and said, "Look- I am a Pharoah."
We also went for voice checks and robe checks with Boys Choir. Charlie is so excited to finally join.
I love these happy summer days!
