Julia's Summer Camp, etc

This week Julia went to her annual overnight summer camp.  She always looks forward to this camp and talks about how much fun it was all year long.  This year she went with some special friends.

Icebreaker games on the first night.

They hiked, played tons of games, had a talent show, went to a water park, went to Mass and Confession-

They also do a lot of arts and crafts including making candles, tie-dyed t-shirts, pottery, rosaries and bracelets-

Chanting the Salve Regina in schola-

They loved canoeing, kayaking, jumping on the blob and rope swings-

Julia loves to fish- she has such patience!

They all competed in the "Camp Cup."  Lots of events to add up- tennis, archery, dodge ball, gaga ball, team ski, relay races-

The egg-drop competition-

Such a fun week!

While Marc was at the Naval Academy and Julia was at camp, the little guys went to Catholic Kids Week at our church.  We enjoyed hearing the sweet songs they learned-

Landin got to see our friend who we went to Italy with last year-

Annie loves Landin, even though she is almost 1/2 her size!  :)

Today we went to Chuck E Cheese and had a lot of fun.  You buy "time" now and can play unlimited games in the time you buy.  It's a much more fun system.

They were all trying to win as many tickets as possible-

In the end they had over 1,000!

Tonight we were treated to BB and Poppy's hospitality on the farm!

BB cooked us a delicious dinner and then the children enjoyed picking blueberries and peaches!  Poppy planted three peach trees (for BB, Julia, and me) when they first moved in and now they are producing wonderful peaches!

What a haul!

And just a few pics of Charlie babysitting his sister while I get clothes folded.    They are best buddies.
