Tucker's is Eleven

Sweet Tuckerman turned eleven this past week!  How the time has flown!  And yet, in some ways Tucker especially has seemed little longest.  He has a joyful, wonder-filled spirit that keeps him youthful.  We had a little birthday breakfast before church and let him open his presents from us.

He always likes to be  the "good guys" in Star Wars.

We got him a hoverboard.  He took to it immediately and was great at riding it!  We knew he would be- he's always been good on skates, skateboards, stilts, or anything like that.

That night we took him out to hibachi to celebrate!

On Monday, BB came to take Tucker (and Charlie of course) to lunch and to get a present from the store.  They had a wonderful day.  They love one-on-one (or two) time with BB!

Tucker, at 11, you are a delight!  You are a great little boy and bring all kinds of joy and love to our family.  Speaking of family, you LOVE your family.  You love being home and think our home is the best place in the world.  You want to stay "in" all together.  You are very sentimental about holidays and our family traditions (like Daddy).  Your favorite football team is Notre Dame.

This year you played soccer, flag football and basketball and went to Space Camp with Daddy and Charlie.  You also went to Fraternus Ranch for the first time with Marc and Daddy and loved it.  You went to Boys Choir Camp for the first time and stayed in the college dorms.  You went to summer camp with some of your best buddies and had a ball.  You went to chess camp and now you participate in chess club weekly and love it.  We went to Disney in  March, the beach in May and August, and to the mountains in October and December.  A great 11th year for our little Tuck Tuck.

We love your heart for our family and your heart for the Lord.  We love your quirky sense of humor- you are always looking for a joke.  We love your love of language and your eloquent speech.  And you notice anything "off" in the world- in a picture, song, show or book.  Just tonight as we read a Christmas story about innkeepers, you said, "They call this an inn, but they run it like a private residence."  :)  ha!  We love the things you say.  :)  We love you so much- happy birthday
