Tonight there is a little 4 1/2 year old boy whose dreams are coming true! Little buddy has asked to go camping almost every night for months and tonight he finally got to camp in the backyard with daddy. We got new sleeping bags and some yummy soft pretzels to eat with juice boxes and they are good to go. There's some soft rain, but it's not slowing them down.
This is what's in my pitch-black back yard right now. A little tent all aglow and in the air is lots of laughter. They are watching "Sword in the Stone" on the portable DVD player and talking, talking, talking. Good night sweet boys! (And no, mama is not camping- let's be serious!)

HOW FUN! Tristan has been begging to go camping, and I've said we need to start in the backyard first.

I love it... for them, of course. You know you couldn't catch me (or you) 10 yards away from a hair dryer for a night. Let's get real, here.
How fun!!! Did they last all night? We are setting up a tent for all the cousins for Thanksgiving. Hamilton cannot wait. Hope you all are doing well.
The picture of them together is priceless! Who do you think loved camping out more? It's probably a toss up.
