Happy Charlie and the art museum

Today we were going to spend the morning at the zoo to see the new dinosaur exhibit, but when we got there the parking lot was overflowing- it was a madhouse.  We were all dressed and ready to have an adventure so we called Daddy and he met us for lunch before we zipped to the art museum.  Charlie cracked himself up playing with lemons.  :)

We had a great time at the art museum- Marc made a few pieces of art- he calls this one "scales"-

Oh- and in other news- Marky had his 9-year-old checkup and is off the charts- he's 4'11 and 86 lbs.  The doctor says he's the size of an "average 12-year-old".  :)  Ha!  And little Charlie doesn't know he's a baby- the other night I walked in and he was sitting on the high stools- nobody knows how he got up there- he climbed by himself.  Monkey see monkey do.

Charlie makes me smile. Trini Lopez said it well, "Lemon tree, very pretty, and the lemon flower is sweet. But the fruit of the poor lemon is impossible to eat!!!!"
Charlie's nose illustrates the meaning of the song!
