Our cul-de-sac means we see the firetruck TWICE!
And we never have a visit from Poppy where he doesn't get out his toolbox to fix something. :) They worked on our lights and on fixing Tucker's easel.
Then we had our usual steak cookout that we've done for years- we also made my Nanny's steak salad that is just wonderful.
Then we had our annual sing along before dessert. :)
After dessert, which included BB's famous Florida Citrus Cake and Apple pie, we let the children open one present- they all got Boogie Boards, which they LOVED!
Then we all went for a drive to look at Christmas lights. They all loved it, but Charlie was precious saying things like "Wow!" or "What in the world is that?!" :)
After the car ride we came home and Daddy read us The Christmas Story as he does every year.
After they went to bed BB and Poppy helped us wrap the presents and get the new bikes ready. We watched Christmas Vacation and now we are getting ready to finally rest! Such a wonderful night with my sweet angels- my cup runneth over!
Sleeping in her brothers' room for a treat. :)

All three of ours got Boogie Boards too and haven't stopped playing with them all morning! Merry Christmas to the Ayers!!
