Party over here, Party over there...

Today we had our annual double birthday party. Because Marc and Julia's birthdays are only four days apart and because many of their friends have a sister that Julia plays with and a brother that Marc plays with- we just have their parties together- always have. But lately- we've had two parties at one time- i.e. Sissy has her pink, girly pony party with her own cake, pinata and jump castle, and Marc has his football/sports party with his own jump castle, cake and pinata. It's crazy and over-the-top, but it works. :)

We moved the sandbox and little slides to her side so the toddlers wouldn't get run over by the big boys rough housing-

Somehow nobody got a pic of the giant food table in the dining room. Sigh. It was hot dogs, chips, beans, potato salad, gold fish, pretzles, cookies. And a neutral zone where boys and girls could both come. :)

The boys played football and our buddy with a broken arm got to be referee with his whistle- he was calling off sides, etc. He was great!
