Overheard

While walking outside and leaves blowing past his feet-

Tucker:  Whew!  What a blustery day.  Blustery means the wind is blowing leaves, Mommy.   :)

I was explaining how adding white to paint colors makes them lighter, "white and blue make light blue, white and black make gray"

Tucker:  Yes, because black is a more saturated color.  Right, Mommy?  It's more saturated.

The little vocabulary master at four-years-old.  How we love our little Tuck Tuck.
