Stations of the Cross, Botanical Gardens, this and that

Every Friday during Lent we have been praying the Stations of the Cross at home with the little votive set I made last year.   The children love it and take turns reading the prayers at each station and extinguishing the candle.  We do hope to make it to church for stations sometime, but for now doing them at home makes for a peaceful Friday.

This morning the weather was so beautiful- highs in the high 70s- that we decided to go to the Botanical Gardens and enjoy the day.  We had the best time.

This morning we stumbled across these brave knights in the foyer-

The knights worked together to build this tower-

Friday was homeschool gym day- they have all ages come and play kickball, dodgeball, and capture the flag.

We brought home Julia's friends to play with during the afternoon.

The boys found the old 'T' in the garage and now they are all wanting to play baseball all the time.  Marky played t-ball when he was four and that was the last time we did all of this.  Charlie loves it.

And by the way- BB has this on her refrigerator now.  This hair is a genetic wonder!  :)
