Trip to the Mountains- Part 2- Dollywood

On Wednesday we spent the whole day at Dollywood.

We almost had the place to ourselves!  There were no lines for any of the rides.

We met a crow named "Tuck"-

Charlie was a very good boy.  He loved the "kiddie" rides and was happy to sit with Poppy in the stroller when the older children rode the big rides.

When Marc and Marky went to ride the big roller coaster- Julia and Tucker rode the little one.

We loved the flying elephant ride-

Against her better judgement- BB rode the ride with Charlie.  What a good BB!

Fearless Tucker rode this ride with Marc, Marky and Julia-

Since it was "Festival of Nations" we saw several shows- an accapella group from Zambia, a Celtic band from Canada, a Russian band, and a neat show of Swiss yodelers who showed the children how to roll coins in a bowl for music.

We also rode the Dollywood Train-

Sissy's favorite statue-

Tucker with his beloved continents-

A great trip!  Thank you BB and Poppy for going with us and helping so much!

Charlie looks so big in these photos! And I love BB on the slide! I'm pretty sure my hips get stuck every time I try going down a kids slide to props to her!
