The boys finally got some "sports clothes" as they call them and want to wear them all the time. It makes them strong. :)
On Holy Saturday we killed ourselves cleaning the house. We emptied and scrubbed the porch and scrubbed the cushions with soap and water. It was worth it to have a shiny, fresh porch.
Last week the boys had a Troops of St. George meeting.
They went against the Dads, but the Dads could only use one hand. :)
Father gave them a talk about what the Resurrection of Christ means for a Christian man.
Saw this in Julia's room- she drew a tiny Etch a Sketch and then wrote the words Etc A Sketch at the botttom. She may have her mother's "talents" in this area- I can write extremely quickly in cursive on an Etch A Sketch. :)
A picture from a trip to the zoo last week-
Last Thursday we went to see Robinhood at the Children's Theater. I didn't like it. They did a "fun twist" on the story where cowardly Robinhood was actually in hiding for three years and girl power Maid Marian was actually Robinhood in disguise. It's extremely frustrating to read a timeless story to your child and take them to see the story acted out, and then it's nothing at all like the book and obviously promoting an agenda. It happens all the time at children's theaters.
The costumes and stage were beautiful though and we had amazing seats.
Marc loved his All Terrain Robot kit and built the rover first thing (you have to build it from scratch wires and all). He and Charlie love making an obstacle course for it- Charlie is Marc's biggest helper.
Also, we hung Marc's new hammock in the side yard and Tuck Tuck LOVES it. He is ALWAYS in it- he even took a pillow and blanket out there.
A few pictures from Sunday-

The Children's Schola sang again at mass. It was beautiful- I realized only after taking this picture that Julia was missing. :) Her Sunday School class had run over.
And that's all folks! :)
