Labor Day

Happy Labor Day! Marc honored the day by 'laboring' at the office so the kids and I went out to BB and Poppy's farm for the day! We rode the four wheeler and the kids got to harvest some corn Poppy had planted. We baked brownies and had a big lunch.



 We also let the kiddos swim and eat watermelon.

 

 After swimming it was time to ride the gator and the bikes-



Poppy was trimming bushes and Tucker ran right into it- "Poppy- this is in my way!"

 

 Poor Marky is too big for the tractor now- BB and Poppy bought it for him when he was 8 months old! It just sat in the garage for years as we waited for him to grow big enough to ride it. Then when he could he rode it constantly.  And now his legs don't fit at all.  Where'd my baby boy go?  Time is flying.

 We brought home left over chicken and potato salad and had supper with Daddy and then had our family "Labor Day Parade" through the neighborhood. :)

After our parade, we had popsicles on the porch, baths, stories and bedtime, and now we are all resting and listening to the rain and thankful for this happy day with each other. Happy Labor Day!
