Choir Tour Day 4- Prague

On Thursday the boys woke up and after breakfast headed to tour Prague Castle and the adjoining St. Vitus Cathedral, which was originally built in the 900s!  The most exciting part of that was going to the St. Wenceslas chapel where his tomb is and the stories of his life are painted.  "Good King Wenceslas" is a real person and our family has read a lot about him.  We were so excited Marky would get to see this in person.

The tomb of St. Wenceslas is on the right-

A carving of when the Cathedral was destroyed in the 1600s during the reformation.

Sarcophagus of pure silver for St. John of Nepomuk-

Now that is a pipe organ!

After the tours they had a quick open-air concert in the square- a pretty good crowd showed up-

Then they had a walking tour in a really cool small town near Karlstejn Castle.

After lunch and shopping they got on the bus and drove to Pilsen, Czech Republic.  They had dinner and then went to bed!
